Body Bottom
Immediately after we shipped Eric's '49 Ford Coupe off for paint, we got started on his '49 Chevy pick-up. Like his shoebox, this truck is also going to have plenty of subtle modifications. The top is chopped 1", the cab has been channeled 2" over the frame, the front quarters have been sectioned 1" to raise the front fenders, and the hood has been sectioned 1" through the mid section. We also shortened the wheelbase of the TCI frame 4" to move the rear fenders forward on the bed. And just like the '49 Coupe, the truck will be right hand drive to prepare it for its life in Great Britain.
